People of all ages are finding the enjoyment in knitting. Knitting is relaxing and relieves stress. What better way for a teen to take a time out from studying. The fun of making your own scarf, slippers or hat is being discovered by all ages.

Children’s knitting needles come with each needle in a different color. The different color needles make learning knitting easier for a child. Children of all ages are finding that knitting is fun and easy to learn. What better way to fill a rainy day or keep a child busy than knitting their own mittens.

Books of knitting patterns are filled with young stylish patterns since more and more teens and young adults are taking up knitting. Knitting your own vest or hat has become the “cool” thing to do. There are many knitting books out for children now. Patterns are simple and fun. Yarn now comes in so many bright and exciting colors that children are drawn to the fun of making their own knitted animal or doll.

Now that people of all ages are becoming knitters it has become a way for families to bond. Grandma and mom can hand down patterns, favorite needles and spend quality time teaching techniques. Families are turning off their televisions and grabbing their knitting needles for entertainment.

Knitting is fun and now with supplies for all ages anyone can become a knitter no matter what your age is. Knitters are now starting to knit as children and knitting their way through life.
